Salary Level A: A$80,239 – A$85,824 per year (plus 9.25% employer superannuation and leave loading)
The Black Dog Institute conducts research to determine the nature of depression, the best treatments for depression, and innovative methods to prevent depression. The Black Dog Institute hosts the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Suicide Prevention which is concerned with lowering suicide rates in Australia. The Postdoctoral Fellow will take up a position within the CRESP team to undertake the necessary research to effect rapid advances in suicide prevention.
This is a fixed term full time position (35 hours per week) for 12 months with a good chance of renewal
